The opening of the lounge coincides with the continued growth of our Lowveld scheduled services and forms part of our ongoing commitment to delivering seamless, luxury-focused journeys from departure to destination.

Designed to mirror the elegance and exclusivity of our flagship lounge in Johannesburg, the Hoedspruit Baobab Lounge introduces a modern safari-inspired aesthetic, blending clean contemporary design with warm African hospitality. The result is a calm, sophisticated waiting space where travellers can relax and unwind before their journey.

To celebrate this milestone, we welcomed valued travel and trade partners to experience our new lounge firsthand and gain insight into the enhanced guest experience now available in Hoedspruit. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with attendees praising the comfort, atmosphere, and premium feel of the facility.

While the lounge serves our FedAir guests, it will also be available to the public on a limited-capacity basis. Travellers connecting with other commercial airlines through Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport will have the opportunity to access the lounge for a nominal fee, providing a comfortable retreat away from the busy terminal environment.
