FedAir Partners with Food Directions
Federal Airlines is pleased to announce an enhancement on the prepared catering service for guests travelling through their Johannesburg OR Tambo private lounge facilities.
Starting 13 July 2023, we are partnering with the renowned South African airline catering company, Food Directions, to offer guests an enhanced experience by offering new food and beverage options at our Johannesburg private Lounge.
At Federal Airlines, we are committed to providing all guests with exceptional service at every stage of their journey, and this partnership is another step in that direction. Food Directions is synonymous with innovation and quality in inflight catering, and they will be taking our lounge catering to a whole new level.
Guests visiting our lounge will find a range of morning and daytime snacks, accommodating a variety of options and dietary preferences. From fresh fruit and smoothies to savoury snacks and more offer a variety of prepared fresh food and beverage options before and after flights.
In Johannesburg, our exclusive facility at OR Tambo International Airport (JNB), is complete with a private lounge, which makes our guests feel right at home in Africa for the perfect start or end to their African safari adventure.
Located five minutes away from the main terminal, guests can drive directly to the lounge or make use of our free shuttle transfer service between the main terminal at OR Tambo and our lounge. The FedAir lounge is the perfect place where guests can freshen up onsite in our shower facilities before heading off on their onward journey.
On arrival at the FedAir terminal, guests may look forward to a warm FedAir meet and greet from our friendly guest service team, with a personal welcome and check-in or arrival experience before proceeding into the private lounge. This relaxing space allows guests to have a few moments to unwind as they prepare for their African safari experience, where they can enjoy some refreshments, or catch up on work-related activities. Our outdoor garden area provides a fresh open-air setting, with a vantage viewpoint of the airport‚ and direct access to the apron where guests board the aircraft. The outdoor garden is an ideal spot for photo opportunities.
All services offered in the lounge are complimentary, including access to Wi-Fi.
